quick!!! how much melatonin can I take? I can NOT sleep!!!

my dr told me I could take melatonin.

It seriously will be fine. Not gonna lie, I've taken more than 5 mgs. My little guys always been fine. You stressing is worse than you taking melatonin. It's a natural sleep aide.

@rachelhoffmans, it makes me nervous because I have been going for nst twice a week since Jan due to her being a little lazy lady lol and I don't wanna slow her down or make her lazier and something happen. I'm kicking myself for forgetting to ask the Dr today!

I've taken it all through my pregnancy, my babies fine. Most babies that have moms taking actual sleeping aides, such as prescription drugs, are typically fine unless the prescription is ABUSED. key word, abused. Don't make yourself miserable because how would that be any better for the baby, ya know? I take melatonin all the time.

Melatonin one time isn't gonna hurt your baby. In fact, you not sleeping would be way worse. Take 5 mg and get some sleep.

Try taking a warm bath or drink some warm milk with honey

this sucks! the closest store open right now is 30-40 mins away from our house and the only thing I have on hand is melatonin. oh well I guess I'll just have another sleepless night @cass_lynne @irene93.hs @jazmon_blue

It's on the black list at my doctors office. In the state of Maine. But everyone is different I suppose. You'd think all doctors would be on the same page since they all have the same degree in medicine lol.

try unisom or lavender oil.

I take benadryl. it works for me, most of the time. @jaeparm

your not suppose to. but you could try benidrill (sp?). I was surprised but melitonen is not good for baby my doc said.

I was also told to not take it during pregnancy.
