I was only 20 when I had my son and his dad was useless. But this time around I have my husband and he's been amazing preparing for our birth plan. He's read books and come to classes with me so I'm way more prepared and confident going into this delivery. Personally I think support is everything. I can't wait to go through this journey with my husband. 😊
Oh wow I'm getting induced right at 38 weeks because I have gestational diabetes so dr said he wants him out sooner. I hope I'm not in labor for that long. I'm only 1cm dilated right now. I'm so thankful I will have support from my mother and sister and husband. Thanks for sharing your experience @carterclaytonb
I got induced at 41 weeks being 3.5 cm and fully thinned and I was in labor for 17 hours with about an hour of pushing. Everyone is different and pitocin contractions are no joke. Everyone's different and I didn't have very good support going through it song was stressed the whole time. Good luck tho hopefully yours will not be too bad.
Not easy lol just faster!! I had horrible contractions but I was only in labor for about 8 hours so it wasn't to bad! Although I remember when they put it in my IV it burned a bit in my arm so that was uncomfortable 😕 but you'll do fine!!
