My next appointment is in 4 weeks. I'll be 12 weeks by then, will I be able to find out the sex of my baby by then?

Between 18 & 20 weeks

They told me the gender of my baby when I was 20 weeks at the doctors. But if you can't wait like me because I was to excited I went to a 4d ultrasound place and paid to find out what the gender was.

At 20 weeks they tell you. But if you go to a 3D place by 14 weeks they can tell you 45$

I went to my prenatal screening ultrasound where they look for extra fluid in the baby's neck to check for Down's syndrome and found out I was having a boy. I was 12 weeks & 4 days. It all depends on baby.

@giananiicole, oh wow. I decided not to do the Down syndrome test because it doesn't run in my family so the doctor said not to do a test if I'm not worried

Oh yea @awilson43 it was just part of all my normal first trimester screening it doesn't run in either sides of the family either but hey I'm happy I did it cuz now I'm having a boy. Hopefully you find out soon. 💕 I think I got really lucky. It takes usually until you are 14-20 weeks

doctors wont guess what you are having if you are using an insurance to fund the scan. they will tell you at the 20 week anatomy scan though.
