Im 37+4 weeks i had a doctors appointment this morning and i thought my doctor was going to check and see if i dilated any but she said she won't check unless I've been having contractions, is that normal?

I went to my 36 week checkup and I asked if she was going to check me and she said "I will if you want me to"...

I mines will check me at 38weeks.and I been having here n there contractions.it is normal.it just depends on ur doc

Mine didnt stary until 38 weeks unless i asked them too (:
