so I just read an article about forceps being used during vaginal birth... Has any mom had forceps used during their birth? freaking out a little bit because of the risks they list. definitely going to be talking to my doctor about this but wanted to know if anybody actually experienced this.
Birth Plan Rant I used to be all about getting an epidural, but after research and thinking about it more I want to have an unmedicated birth (this is my first baby). What annoys me is when I say that I'm going to TRY my hardest to have a natural and unmedicated birth people always feel the need to say that I'm crazy or that I'm going to change my mind when I get in that position. Or that epidurals are the best. I do realize that plans change, but why can't people be supportive and encouraging?
I'm gonna be so uncomfortable with having to use pads after giving birth. I absolutely hate pads. I haven't used them since I was about 15. 😖
Has anyone had to have forceps or vacuum assistance when giving birth? I'm 100% against it but I want to hear something positive about it so if the doctor does need to use it I don't go totally crazy on him or her. Medically trained mothers and moms-to-be opinions are also welcome.
Did anyone tear during birth? If so what was your go to options to heal yourself? As in what did you use for pain an to take care of the tear. An how long did it take for you to get healed? Any information is helpful.
My hospital officially posted on their website that no spouses are aloud in during birth/post partum. So guess who’s gonna have to freaking look into a midwife for vbac tomorrow 🙃 not an option to have my fiancé miss the whole birth of our son. Freaking crazy.
