so my dentist told me I can't get my teeth cleaned because I will be entering the 3rd trimester soon…

really? i was just going to schedule an appt to get mine cleaned. I thought it was only the 1st trimester. ughh

they just said they don't see patients in the 3rd trimester & I'll be entering that on thursday.. I don't understand either because my appointment was canceled and now they're blowing my phone up so maybe the lady told me wrong.. the 1st lady I spoke to said it was fine then the next day somebody called me back and told me that and made me cancel @mommagotbump16

@aniyahsmommy_0623, maybe time for another dentist lol normally they don't do it the first trimester because it's the most critical trimester but you should be able to. don't know why he refuses. Maybe take a note from your OB saying it's okay ?

really? because now I want to call up there and speak to my dentist and nobody else. my OB faxed them a note saying it was okay the 1st time. this dentist office has been making me mad the last couple of visits I've had so maybe it is time for a new one. thank you! @jessgtz92

yeah, unless your OB says other wise you can get as many cleanings as you want while being pregnant. @aniyahsmommy_0623

Cleanings you can have any stage in pregnancy. X-rays never allowed other procedures not allowed unless okay by your ob I was a dental assistant for 3 years and my mom has been in the dental field for over 20 years.
