You are pregnant not fat don't be worrying about that you are making a baby your body needs extra weight. Take it easy if you do go swimming I know walking in water is good for the spd X

I didn't wait for them to give me one, I went and bought one! The day my midwife was going to give me one, she couldn't find it! I was put on crutches for the last 12 weeks of my pregnancy, had to take early maternity because of it! I would also highly recommend going swimming, it takes all the weight off your back and hips and you will feel so much better @mummyraven2016 xxx

I had awful SPD, and had a completely natural water birth, no pain relief at all! I found with my SPD that using a support belt helped! Lifted baby and took some of the weight off my hips and back! @mummyraven2016 xx

Nothing helped me either, just have to ride it out, you can't even feel it when you're in labour and as soon as they're out it goes straight away just let your midwife know so she can help you get in positions that won't cause damage xxx

I had really horrendous spd, ended up having a completely natural water birth only 3 hours long! Didn't have any pain from the spd and disappeared as soon as Id had him xxx

Birth Plan Rant I used to be all about getting an epidural, but after research and thinking about it more I want to have an unmedicated birth (this is my first baby). What annoys me is when I say that I'm going to TRY my hardest to have a natural and unmedicated birth people always feel the need to say that I'm crazy or that I'm going to change my mind when I get in that position. Or that epidurals are the best. I do realize that plans change, but why can't people be supportive and encouraging?
