I hate when I finally decide I like a name for my baby girl, someone always has to say, 'That sounds too white'. Like what the heck is that supppse to mean? My boyfriend, his family is Mexcian, and obvioisly want me to go with a Mexican name. As for me, my birth parents are Mexican, but my adoptive parents are white. Like come on now, I barely speak spanish. It sounds like something ridiculous to be annoyed for, but constantly making fun of a name I like, and then telling me if it was my baby i would never name them like that, but it's your baby do whatever, gets really annoying.
Me and my husband are both Hispanic and my first daughter is Delilah Ann. My second daughter is Abigail, and now this baby will be named Penelope. So all my kids have "white names" but oh well I name them what I want!!!
on the same boat, exept my hubby and I are both mexican. My first baby girl, her name is ESVEIDY,sounds mexicanish. My 2nd child's name will be Scarlett.Everyone is freaking out saying it's "too white"..like...AND?!!
