Torn between not wanting to be stuck in the hospital for 2 weeks and not wanting my baby to come too…

my plug came out everyone said stay home , I went to hospital they kept me bc I started bleeding next morning water broke everything seemed fine for like 8days, then minor contractions actually it was labor I was in it all day, but I was so early it just felt minor, I was dialted 1.5cm, for 4days straight I was up and down from labor and delivery. my medication would wear off and contractions would start again some as high as 80 on the monitors. I had my daughter at 5cm dialated, long story short I'm glad I went when I felt I needed. I dreaded being there for 13days . but If I wasn't there, I would have delivered in the car and my daughter wouldn't have servived. she came at 24w6ds. she's now 28w1d gesterial age in the nicu the hospital gave her 4exrra days in my belly by medication slowing down contravtions as they started. if I wasn't there then I would have dialated a lot faster I would have been up walking around pushing her down wards. I also found out OK f water is broken nd ur even.. 0.5cm dialted you can cause the baby imbilital cord to drop down into that opening and the baby will loose blood and oxigin and you won't even know til your next drs appointment please suck it up with being in the hospital and go and be admitted for your babies sake. if you need anyone to talk to girl I'm right here. I had a rough pregnancy and will understand your struggles.

normally your baby is not full term til 37weeks. you really don't wanna go thru the nicu like I am it's really hard

@premiemommy22616, I am 35 weeks and he is measuring big - so not really premature. I just really want him to hold on until 37 weeks. I have had zero contractions or mucus plug loss. Just preeclampsia rearing its ugly head.

there was a lady who had her son at 36weeks due to preeclampsia her son was 5pounds 12oz 15.5inch long hes on oxigin hes in the same room as my daughter, she was in the hosptial for like a week i think she said,i didnt see how long youwas until i closed it out lol but hes messurage just fine but due to preeclampsia he came a lil early and is needing small levels of oxigin hes due to go home tomorrow:))

@premiemommy22616, at 34 weeks my little champ was measuring 36.5 weeks and 7 lbs. he is definitely not small like is the concern with pre-e. He is a big strong boy.

it's not the outside you should be worried about. it's the insides. it doesn't matter how big your baby Is measuring. his lungs aren't developed enough to survive on his own. don't be selfish

@mybabyboytimmy020516, no one is being selfish. My doctor will make the decision. I would just rather be on bed rest at home. They are confident he is developed enough. I am the one pushing to wait until 37. Just don't want to stay in the hospital.

I had my son at 36 weeks on the dot and he was perfectly healthy no oxygen or nicu and we went home together in 3 days! I have heard of some people having problems but if you do end up going into labor baby could still be perfectly healthy too. He was 6ibs 5 oz 20 1/2 in long

they told me my daughter would be almost two pounds if born early, she came out at 1pound and 7.6oz (no where near 2) they said she'd be about 14-15inch at birth born early she was 12inch. messurmants are never accurate
