please read and comment, I have an issue.
not sure if I should be concerned, when I first went to my Dr back in Aug/15 I was told my weight was 222. I was told I could only gain 15 more to avoid any complications so I watched myself. I am due the 28th of march n my dr is telling me I gained 30 pounds n she might have to do a c section. but I checked my visit summary from my 1st visit to just this last visit n my weight now is 230, that means I gain 8 pound. at one point I was losing with all my nausea. should I get a second opinion. I do t want a c section. I have 3 natural births.
thank u ladies I thought I was being a bit selfish by not listening but like u sau@sexxymama83 all my blood work n test have been fine.
Honestly you should get a second opinion they might be just saying that because having you do a c section is much easier for them. Also they get paid more when they do a c section & they don't have wait for you to actually have the baby naturally.
Yep second opinion. You do not need a csection unless baby is in danger. Just because you are on the heavier side does not automatically equals a csection smh. Shame on that dr for stressing you all this time. I'm on the heavier side as well and I told my dr from the beginning no csection. If all of your numbers and blood work have been coming back fine then nope wouldn't agree to it.
Definitely do! I was about 200 lbs when I started my pregnancy and I gained 60lbs and my Drs still let me labor and try to have a vaginal birth.
I have never heard you had to have a c section cause you gained 30 pounds.. that's a normal weight gain range
