My husband hasn't gotten up once to feed our son at night in over a week and the only time I've asked him to is tonight…

@mommaheathco, it's like they don't think giving birth to and then caring for a baby every day and night is enough...

My husband did the same exact thing last night. Oh I wanted to smack him. He had no reason to be hateful with me but apparently that doesn't matter. I pumped yesterday so he would have something to feed the baby. I woke him up last night when the baby started crying for food and my husband says "he's probably hungry" like he wanted me to get up and breastfeed. So I said "that's why there's milk in the fridge". For the rest of the night he had an attitude and was being hateful with me. Gosh I wish he'd get a reality check sometimes

@lil_bigmama, yeah when I was pregnant he said he would get up every night and we would take turns feeding him and he was actually looking forward to getting up but now that he has to he gets mad... I just don't think I can rely on him to do it at all... I guess I have no choice but to do it myself. When I got up the second time to feed him, he was crying for like 15 minutes and my husband didn't get up at all to calm him while I got the bottle because he said he didn't hear him.

we r in the same boat he works I stay home but 20 mins 2 get him up just pissed me off so I just do it now I do have 2 wake him up 2 put her in her bed bc I can't lift her it's been 2 weeks & he's so dog tired it's like ok whatever I'll do it but I can't u wanted 2 have baby #2 & u talk all this mess oh I'll help more oh I get up with him & her u need 2 rest now I'm pregnant & high risk & can't do it all & he's having 2 wake up its not all rainbows & puppies lol uk it's alot alot of work men just r weak & can't handle it

@lil_bigmama, exactly... I take care of our son all day and all night because he can't handle it with work apparently.. but Sundays he doesn't work so why is it such a big deal to get up once to feed him? I'm so tired of fighting with him so usually I just give in and avoid the whole situation but it's just not fair.

It's not at all bc it's his kid too but if ur like me u get up anyways so y fight about it & have 2 pissed of ppl lol my husband is a dead head when he sleeps 2

@lil_bigmama, I just don't think that's fair... it's just not right in my opinion.

@jeasie, yeah my husband gets pretty close to that, he still gets really angry with him and is rough with him and it does nothing but make the situation worse and he just acts like our son is doing it on purpose. This is the first time he's fed him at night in over a week and I figured it wouldn't be that big of a deal but of course I was wrong. I'm never allowed to get any extra sleep at all... I thought I deserved at least that. I thought he could give me at least one night to sleep and not worry about it.

I'm in little to no help land.

When my daughter cries alot he screams really loud "stop crying" in an angry loud voice I yell at him to stop because he scares her... if he keeps up I probably will do the same ..

@jeasie, seriously... he's being such an ass and he has no patience with our son. Sometimes I wish he had a different father... I've been so tempted to up and leave a few times and take my son with me.

I'm receiving no help here either. .. what us women have to go through. ..
