On my last appointment Dr . told me they want to induce me at 39 weeks , I'm excited because that's a few days away but also nervous because it's something new to me . If you guys have been induce before , can you guys give me some insight on what to expect ? 😳😳😳 a brief story of your experience please (:
I was induced at 3cm and 50% effaced and it wasn't easy either. But my labor was 17 hours and 1 hour of pushing. Contractions were horrible because I have two and three back to back. Too much pitocin.
Oh well at least you're making progress!! It was rough. We had to get her out instead of her coming out on her own. I forgot the name of the medication but it was basically like a tampon thing that was inserted to soften my cervix for 12hours 6pm-6am I finally made it to a 1 lol but it started giving my contractions which usually doesn't happen with that. Then I started catching a fever and throwing up. Her heart rate was dropping because of all the medications I was getting my body just wasn't used to it. My water got broken the second day in the morning, I got the pitocin and that night I got the epidural around 7pm. I didn't give birth until the next day @930p I felt everything. Lol. The epidural didn't help me so the anesthesiologist would come in to give me some different medication through the IV. I couldn't eat or drink anything the last 5 hours before I had her because I might of had to go to emergency c section. I was living off Ice chips😩 everyone is different though mama😊 just be patient and breathe. If there is a yoga ball in your room just bounce on it while your able to. It helped me a lot. I didn't feel any contractions while bouncing on it.
