So I have a question, a lot of you might be like are you stupid because I feel I should know but I just don't. I'm new to all of this. Okay so I saw a post about breast feeding and when the milk comes in... So if u don't get your milk until like 3 days after they're born what does the baby eat? I heard that you didn't want to immediately bottle feed them because then they get used to the plastic nipple and don't want to latch. So can someone please help me figure out what I'm supposed to do when the time comes?
you guys, the nurses should be able to tell you everything you need to know. I had amazing nurses my first time.
I agree! @aimers8031 I was wondering about this too ! @caprisun04 lol thank you for asking for me 😉
@caprisun04, there is no such thing as a stupid question. you don't know what you don't know. :-)
I pumped immediately after my daughter was born and I was producing 8-9 oz by day two! your body will make exactly what baby needs! don't stress yourself but I would definitely recommend pumping!
you don't make milk at first you make colostrum!!! it's super high in fat/protein/other nutrients and the baby eats that until your milk comes in!!! my milk came in day 2, some people have to give their babies a little formula if they are still acting hungry but I never did and my daughter was gaaining weight okay!
you have milk ever since about 4-5 months pregnant it's called colostrum, it's not until a couple of days of baby eating the colostrum that your "milk comes in" which is only your milk getting thicker and producing more. the colostrum is usually only like 2oz but for the first couple days that's plenty for your little one .
You'll latch them and they'll eat the colostrum that comes out first, that is said to be the most important for them to get. As they get that your body will get an idea of how much milk to make
Usually the milk comes in, but the hospital usually has little 2 oz newborn bottles of formula.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
absolutely nothing came in for me until 3 days but continued to try to nurse and finally the flood gates opened. so much milk... Every doctor and nurse I talked to said it was perfectly fine to avoid the bottle for a few days until my milk came in. it definitely broke my heart though
