I would limit his partying to next to nothing. He shouldn't be doing it anyway. He should be doing what he can to make you feel comfortable. My boyfriend quit smoking weed all together before I even had my daughter (and she's not even his). I wouldn't put up with that

He's not an alcoholic so I'm not worried about that, it's only a every now and then thing and absolutely no kind of smoke is gonna be around her. I won't allow it and if he has a problem with it that's his loss cause my daughter comes first @ilovemykids24 @cass_lynne

Hahaha, do I think grown adults are allowed to make grown up decisions? Absolutely. Clearly she is sober, clearly the mother isn't going to leave her daughter with her father if she is drunk. But who the hell are you to tell someone to break up with their significant other for partying with his friends before the baby is even born? Get a grip. @Ilovemykids24

I don't think he should drink once the baby is here but I personally (this is my own personal opinion and everyone is entitled to one, so no one attack me) see nothing wrong with smoking weed. Yes around the baby is wrong. I would never allow my boyfriend to smoke in the same room as the baby or anything like that, but I don't think weed does any harm. Both of my parents have medicinal mj cards and have smoked my whole life and I didn't find out until I was 17. I don't drink anymore even not pregnant but only because I made a really ridiculously stupid mistake literally right before I got pregnant and it was because of alcohol. I'm sorry you're having to sit in the background while this goes on, that can't be fun for you! But I wouldn't tell you to just up and leave him. It will be a different scenario if he is drinking and smoking around the baby but if you don't think it will happen then that's great! I wish the best for both of you!

Thank you @emkasting and I don't think smoking weed makes you a bad person, the weed didn't make you do something stupid just like a gun didn't make you commit murder. it's the same concept. you can be a great parent and a successful adult smoking weed. it's all about the choices you make

You would seriously take a father's rights away for chewing tobacco...not possible! That's messed up just because you had their child doesnt mean they have to abid by all ur rules.

I stopped when I found out as well and I'm not saying I won't ever do it again but i wont be stoned 27/7 and I'm waiting till she's at least a year and it will be done when she's not around @emkasting
