Evening ladies. Just been looking online and found a fetal Doppler that says it picks up a heart beat from 12 weeks. Does anyone know if they are any good? Would it be worth investing in one? Xx
I have the sonoline B. I've been listening in since 11 weeks and I still do at 30 weeks. there's a difference between umbilical flow, placental flow and baby's heartbeat so make sure you know the difference first and any worries call a midwife. I lost 4 pregnancies before this one so it's stopped me going crazy. x
I've got a hibebe and with my son found it easy at 12 weeks and onwards this time I'm 14 weeks and have found it a few times but it's much harder and takes much longer baby hides behind the placent a lot and when I do find him/her it's for a few seconds then off baby goes again xx
@won't erbaby95, I would always consult the midwife probz to much lol just as a little piece of mind. Just browsing anyway at moment. Seeing what's out there xx
I got one and now selling mine, I'm 32 weeks and I first heard babies heartbeat with mine at 13 weeks xx
Aww okay thank u hun@nico7 yea would see what people say it's been approved by nhs apparently thoxxx
I had one xD An angelcare one :) I used it a few times :) but you need to be careful because you can mistake the heart for something else. Also they should never be used to check/reassure you of anything. If you have concerns please contact your midwife :) xx
@tessa101, I bought one of those, £45 it was and I'm still trying for it to pick up a heartbeat. I know all is fine with my baby, just I think there is a fault with this one. My friends one works brilliantly and she's 14 weeks! Definitely read all reviews before buying first xx
@daisywillow, wow u lost 4. Sorry for ur losses & congratulations on this 1. That's y I want it just a little piece of mind. Thank u ladies. I will look around and see how next few weeks go xxx
