And that's totally fine! but the moral of my long comment was to say that he needs to change his thinking and maybe think about you for a second and why maybe you want him to stop hanging out with girls. if he can't think about you then what does he really want out of the relationship? ask him that.

@madibug96, I doubt I'll change my mind.. when he and I got together I stopped talking to all guys completely unless they are related to me.

I've always liked being around guys more for some reason and that all changed with my husband, he hated the idea of me making friends with other dudes. I understood where he came from but at the same time, he is friends with other females from work so it just kind of felt like he had double standards but for the sake of our relationship I decided I would be fine without friends since I hate military wives that are higher in rank (and that's all he had as friends were higher ranking guys). basically you need to do what's right for your relationship now and revisit the scenario later in life. maybe in a few years my husband and I will both have changed our minds on it.

@morganhayyleyy19, I say that to say that there has to be trust. I don't know your situation outside of the comment but asking someone to give up their friends is huge.

well something happened in the beginning of my relationship which makes it hard for me to trust him around females.. he doesn't feel like its bad for him to have female friends if he isn't flirting or messing with them but in my book its not cool @suprise4

I didn't let go of my male friends until I was married, I knew it made my hubby uncomfortable. But it's a trust thing he would say I don't trust them but if anything happened I would be involved too so what he was saying is that he couldn't trust me as well. The only male friends I have now are married as well.
