Hi I'm looking for people's stories about planned c - section? I got induced on Thursday but nothing is working and they have asked about a section. I'm just worried about the pain after and how ill get around with baby as planning on breastfeeding and worrying about how ill cope when partner goes home in hospital
Okay ladies clearly labor hurts but question, how was recovery? Seems like no one talks about that.... I may be weird but that's what I'm worried about really.
HOW DO YOU.... Mentally prepare yourself for a scheduled c-section?!! Trying NOT to freak out about it. FTM and I'm just trying to prepare myself.
Ladies, what are your fears about your pregnancy? Mine seems silly, but I'm worried about how strong these kicks are getting. I'm not really worried about labor though.
So went to my ultrasound and it wasn't great news 😣😥😢...don't really know how to feel about it and can't help but worry.
I'm planning to do the glucose screening test on Wed. Kind of worried about it. 😒

my baby girl is 3 weeks old i had a c section.. my third one.. i was up walking abt after 3/4 days i came home from hospital on day 2 hun xxx

there's only one thing I maybe I should've done at the start was expressed so that my partner could've fed her whilst I slept.

use nipple cream after feeds. it may hurt for a few weeks but trust me it will get better and worth it x

I was induced and had a c-section... also breastfed.
I breastfed holding her in a 'rugby ball' hold ( I found it better than holding across the belly).
sleep when the baby is sleeping.
don't move too much or over do it.

I didn't have a c section but if you're planning on breastfeeding why don't you ask the hospital about seeing a lactation consultant straight after the birth just so you know you've got the support you need, and make sure they can bring everything to you while you recover xxx
