For those who pump their breast milk when did you start seeing a increase in supply? Today makes 5 days and i can't even pump 1/2 of anything. The consistency feels like water when i wipe the excess off the breast and when it is.in the bottle it is a thin yellowish color.
Oh it says momma to be in your profile haha
Colostrum is the best thing ever for them, and your body will produce what they need. So don't worry!! Your supply will adjust with what they demand. Their stomachs are only the size of an egg at a month old, so right now they're super tiny.
Plus colostrum only lasts so long and then milk comes in, babies NEED the colostrum first
Uhh you do know not to pump while pregnant right?? It can cause preterm labor.
eat oatmeal and look for lactation cookies. I drink the mothers milk tea as well, and ive been on it for three days, three cups a day and my milk has increased a lot.
mine was like 5 days after I had a lot of milk , but everyone is different, eat a lot of hot drinks & soups to help you with your milk and mothers tea
Your milk should increase after the babies are born. I'm still working on it. I also drink mothers milk tea and take fenugreek to help it.
My breast are heavy and full with milk but when I squeeze nothing comes out and when I try to pump nothing is pumped into the breast pump its like I have milk but its stuck and wont come out...any tips or help on this.. i really would like to breastfeed my daughter....
Quick question to breast feeding mum i would like to breast feed my baby when she comes as I’ve never really breast fed my other 2, is it uncomfortable also how is pumping out milk????? For bottle feeds is the pump uncomfortable... I would normally just breast feed and not pump when home but I do drive so when I’m out and can’t stop I’ll have to use a bottle...I remember trying to breast feed my youngest and I keeped getting milk ducts why was that??? I think that’s why I gave up as I was scared...
Ladies I called my insurance about breast pump and they said with their insurance in order to get a pump I get a prescription from doctor then I call 3 different numbers to see what my insurance covers but the only thing is I have to wait til baby is born to call and get pump so I want to at least buy a hand pump which do you ladies recommend for hand pump and when I can get a pump from insurance please n thank you 💖💖
I need to find a breast pump that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. :(
My son loves the bottle more than my breast 😫 he gets so fussy when I give him my breast but has no issue with with bottle. As long as his eating I’m okay with it. I’ve been pumping and I hate pumping!!
Also, not everyone responds to a pump well. I would try a hand Medela pump, I LOVE LOVE LOVE mine. Got A LOT more using that than any pump.
