When my son was super constipated as a newborn (he still gets very constipated), his doctor told me to put 2 oz warm water with a scoop of brown sugar and shake it up. She said to do that every 4 hours until you get a bowel movement. Gas wise, his doctor told me to only use one product, whether it was gripe water or gas drops. I chose gas drops because gripe water to me is just something to buy that makes you think it helps but it really don't. She said to only put it in 2 bottles a day so I put them in one in the morning when he woke up and then some in a bottle before night time. Sorry this is so long but hope it helps!
