I had a stretch and membrane sweep yesterday. I bled all day, had terrible contractions and I'm almost positive I passed my plug. But today no bleeding, only a handful of contractions, and I'm just uncomfortable. Did the stretch and sweep work for any of you? If so how long did it take. I'm ready to have this baby haha 😊

dose it depend how much you have dialated for it to work ASAP?

unfortunately mine never worked :( I ended up having my son a week and1 day later

Contraction questions

I had a membrane sweep today. Before the sweep I was 3-4 dilated & 75% effaced.

Just had my midwife appointment, I'm measuring 4 wks ahead 😱😱😱.....booked in for a stretch and sweep on Friday.

I know I've posted this before but when your water was leaking did it stay leaking or just with movements or what? Did you get contractions shortly after or no? I rolled out of bed and felt warmth leak out but Idk if it was possibly urine or what...never had it happen. It didn't smell like anything really...I know I should either call l&d or go in but I just want some experiences please. I want to wait a bit just in case it's nothing.

My doctor did ah membrane sweep & every since they did that I been having period cramp contractions 😩

raising_carson16 I got mine at 39 weeks and had him 3 days later. my mucus plug started coming

raising_carson16 walk as much as possible just don't get don't wait to long to go to the hospital.

Well I'm 2 1/2cm dilated my doctor did the membrane sweep and I've been having contractions off and on every since I left hopefully that's a sign.
