the lady's who went to evans in fort carson. my first actually appointment is the 31 I'll be 15+1(if due date is Sept 21) or 16+6 (if due date is Sept 9) they told me at the like first appointment where they check you in and stuff that they will be doing a ultrasound. with being so far along will they be able to tell me the sex or will they make me wait till the 24 week ultrasound?

@diamondleann, @frankiesmama how much did you pay at these private scans? I'm past the point of finding out gender and such but I'm not sure if I'll get to see my baby again at my drs until she's born. and boy do I wanna see her! lol
@tiffanybrazeal, it's a place here called first glimpse and they do gender ultrasounds but you have to be at least 13 weeks and you have to be getting prenatal care
I didn't know you could do that @diamondleann like I knew you could get the 4d ones but I thought you had to be like 20 some weeks that's awesome!

From experience, army hospitals do not tell you the gender before 20 weeks. They don't even look before then either. This is my second pregnancy @tiffanybrazeal

@diamondleann, the lady at the first meeting said they might be able to tell and then they would conform the sex at the 20 week ultrasound. because most of the women in the group the other day were like 6-8 weeks and I was so far along. idk I'll wait and see what they do
i was gonna say if ur 15 weeks u should be due like sep 2 or 3 thats what i thought but i turned out to be 16 weeks instead of 15
@malinaa215, if I go off my first day of my last period I'm 15 weeks but if I go off the ultrasound I got at the pregnancy center I'm 13 weeks and 2 days
They won't tell you the sex right now and they will make you wait until you're 20 weeks. I will be 16 weeks tomorrow and I just had an appt there today. She told me to schedule my 20 week ultrasound with radiology so we can find out the gender and also the full body scan. @tiffanybrazeal

I was 14 weeks at my first ultrasound and she didn't even look. She just measured baby to see exactly how far along I was and her measurements ended up matching perfectly with LMP. But you shouldn't have to wait until 24 weeks for your anatomy scan, they usually do it around 20 weeks. Your OB puts in the order for it but you schedule it with the radiology department. In case you want to know before then though, Baby Expressions downtown is super awesome and they were able to tell me the gender at 16 weeks. 😊
@mommapint, when I went they had their winter deal going on so I got the gender reveal ultrasound and I get to go back later on for 4d. it was about $140 for that package. You can do just the one ultrasound though, I think it's somewhere around $80?
