my son is starting to get a bald spot on the back of his head. he has a full head of hair and normally you can't see his skin but on the back of his head it's getting thinner and falling out. he is 5 months old is this normal?

Completely normal. Babies hair falls out and grows back, sometimes even with a different texture. My daughter was born with a lot of straight dark hair. It's fallen out 3 times and is now growing in curly and lighter.

ok I just didn't want to take him to the dr if all they are going to say is its normal. first time mommy!

he favors his right side of his head and it's starting to become flat too. no matter what I do he always goes back to the right side.
