I have a question.. At my next appointment my gynecologist said he will be giving me my HIV test I will be 35 weeks and 3 days. What exactly happens at this appointment? Is it blood work or something like a Pap smear?

You couldn't find a babysitter?! Mommas, do you take your kids with you to run errands and go to mundane appointments? On two separate occasions, a doctors appointment for me and today at a car service appointment, someone has remarked "you couldn't find a babysitter?!" It never crossed my mind to find a babysitter. I take my 2 kids with me just about everywhere. They are well behaved (minus the occasional 3 year old meltdown) and one of them is attached to my boob the majority of the time anyway. Am I the only one? Is that a weird thing to do? Do most moms find babysitters?
I think after my appointment tomorrow I'm switching obgyns.
So threw up the brew but still having some contractions. I suppose it will help dilation. Sigh so I guess my appointment for Friday to get monitoring is still on . I hope my fluids stay consistent.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?

they usually do the blood work at the beginning first trimester. which included hiv and other blood tests. as well as a pap.

I went last week and I was 35 weeks and they tested me with q tips and he felt to see if I was dilated
