First I would like to start by saying my boyfriend is a really great person. Super supportive. But he feels like he isn't ready for a baby. I told him when we started dating that I don't believe abortion is right and I would never do it. Now he is pressuring me to get one. I already love my little pea. What should I do?
never kill a baby you want for a guy who would want his baby dead so he dont have to take on responsibility for his actions.. js..
Congratulations on your pregnancy. But when a man lays down with you he knows its like playing Russian Roulette. So either wrap it up, along with other precautions. Or dont have sex at all. I feel he will come around to the idea sooner or later. But just leave him the right to be apart of the baby's life no matter what.
The same thing happened to me with my bf & my first child. He wasn't ready and was constantly telling me to get an abortion. After my son was born he lightened up. Now I'm pregnant with my second child & it was the same story for like a month but he's been very supportive for the past few months and actually excited now for her arrival.
First, congratulations!! Now, it's important that you stand firm in your beliefs and if it's meant for him to come around he will. I will say this though.. The same way he should've listened to you when you told him how you feel about abortion, you have to listen to him now and know that his words and actions can be (and probably are) indicators of how he'll be as a parent.
Thanks everyone for your advice. I'm definitely going to keep it. I just needed a little reassurance.
Its up to you, I mean his opinion counts but you have to live with that decision forever. You can have your child and still bring joy. If you are concerned about the baby maybe being fatherless, And you don't want to do it on your own you can also do adoption if u don't want to go through with an abortion
Just tell him you understand his opinion but back up what you said in the beginning. He will probably throw a tantrum but if he's the man you say he is, he will get over it as due date nears.
That sounds like someone who's not ready for a relationship I wouldn't if that's what u believe
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
I was in a similar situation. But men dont handle fear very well. My boyfriend tried to convince me that there were other options. He wasn't ready and of course he wanted to take the easy way out. But now that his parents are on bored and excited. Since then he has been more supportive and he's doing a lot better now. So if he is a good man he will turn around and face his fears. I hope it all works out for you.
