Yup same as here in NY there's a big waiting list for section 8. I've never been or tried to get it but I knew someone who did & it took her 8 years to get it. The only thing I know that can help you out is temporary assistance that if you qualify and your checks aren't higher then like 300$ but every state is different @babyluca

Section 8 is hard to get on the waiting list here is 8 years I'm in IL though

No not really my fiance takes care of all the fincaial aid help n all that... he just told me that about section 8 the other day

It's like a waiting list/ raffle type thing. 😕 you have to apply before anyone else does with Section 8.
