That's kind of what I'm doing! I didn't even really know anything about it until I googled something and realized that's basically what I'm already doing. But when she's older she will sleep in her bed and I'm deff going to punish her if she's bad ect @amilo561

I think I ascribe to it more than any other method but I learned what it was after sort of naturally doing a lot of what is considered attachment parenting. I love it but I do think it is best to take things you like from all different methods and follow your gut because each mommy and child are different and I don't think any one parenting style alone will always be exactly what everyone needs

I do it with my boys. With my older son, he will be 3 next month, it can be kinda challenging since he doesn't really take me seriously when I discipline him. Especially since his bother was born he has acted out more like children usually do but when I discipline him he will basically laugh at me. I have had to be a little more stern lately but it usually works for us.

I do for the most part, I don't always baby wear and she doesn't sleep in bed with me through out the night but every morning she does and naps she's with me. I never allow her to cry for more than a second or 2

@kparis, it's been challenging...sometimes I want to stop and give him more dependency and let him cry...but I don't have it in me...I guess because I missed out in the beginning when he was born, so I try to stay close to him now...but the only complaint I have is the sleeping...he won't sleep without me. but other then that I absolutely love how close he is with me :)

You should google it, research it that's how I learned about it! Basically just always comforting baby, no using the "cry it out method", baby wearing. I googled "self soothing vs parental soothing" and stumbled across it, really glad I did! @hermommy

How has it been for you? Your baby is older then mine(: I just really made the decision to keep it up past the newborn stage @frozenessence

It's a lot to try to explain! Google it, I just read so many articles on it!(: @noahbearsmommie

@kparis, I am and my 7 week old already crys randomly when im not holding him.. I wish he wouldn't but other than that everything is working for me...But I don't let him cry and he sleeps with me ... A lot of people might frown at it but I think whatever works..
