At my first OB appt and I don't get an ultrasound till I'm 20 weeks.... this makes me sad :(

find a womens clinic that does ultrasonds.. say you think u r pregnant... they will give u an ultrasound

thats crazy.. what if the baby isnt developing correctly or isnt viable.. ugh idk why some doctors do that

@lilfree16, I did go to a women's clinic at 6 wks.... but I still feel like they should make sure baby is developing okay

yeah i did too .. i went at 4 weeks ad then again at 6 for my ultrasound.. my first obgyn official us was at 8/9 weeks.. wasnt waiting that long

the free clinics let b u know if its viable.

but wont tell u anything else

@lilfree16, my ob made my an appt cuz my bfs sister has spina bifida so I have an appt next week at 12 weeks to check thank goodness.

spina bifida testing could have been done at 8 weeks. I had mine done at 8 weeks. and then trisomy 13, 18, and 21 testing at 12 weeks.

I'm getting tested for all at 12 weeks, but because I'm 11 wks along they want to do an ultrasound for the spina bifida as well. @jellybean1030
