Mine wasn't active at first and they made me eat sugar to get him active. Drink at least three bottles of water before you go!! I did and then ate the chocolate and was able to findout clearly :)

drink tons of water and make sure your bladder is full the more hydrated you are the more clear your ultrasound will be

I did mine on a empty bladder because that's what they requested but my Dr office only does ultrasounds on a full bladder. just make sure you're hydrated if anything because that helps.

mine made me drink 32 oz of water and then had me empty so hed move around.

They had me drink and hold it, but as soon as she went to start said she was going to have me empty cuz it would be easier. I also had sugar before going and she was being so stubborn she wouldn't move so the could get measurements they wanted. An hour later and four trips to the bathroom, she got what she needed. I was just about 18 weeks.
