Yes if they file a judgment, not all landlords feel like going that far though

yeah it does. we have a broken lease on our credit, we are paying it off but some housing places won't take you if you have a broken lease. we had to have co signers because of it.

If you break it and they come after you for the remaining months then yeah it can hurt it.
