we are the parents who never felt a necessity to take our kids to take pics with characters for holidays... I always take kaelins pics of her outside in the season of the holiday for some reason.. maybe bc I never got pics with Santa or a bunny or what have you..
it kind of goes along with us not forcing Santa on her or elf on the shelf..
what traditions do you guys have or want with your kiddos?
our newest tradition this year as a family is everyone cooks Christmas dinner who comes to our house.. instead of just me or the females.. our toddler actually initiated it by dragging her daddy and uncle into the kitchen and pointed to things I was doing and made me hand them things I was multitasking.. she delegated hahaha

that's adorable!!!! I think we've decided to start doing Christmas as just us when Raine gets here... We dont be doing family visits on Christmas day. so much stress and we want to spend that time as a family! other than that, we really havent thought much about our future traditions with her!

Every holiday so far with my son and daughter we spend the mornings just us and the kids. We then take them to one activity with extended family. Our problem is hubby family thinks it's okay to let us know what they plan the day before so we've decided if we aren't told at least one week in advance then we won't be going it's to much hassle getting two ready let alone three once Joshua is here. We don't do Easter bunny photos or Santa Claus at our house either.

@littlemissrainesmommy same here! our family travels and we just feel like that takes away from the spirit of Christmas so we have Xmas with just us and then the day after we do our rounds lol
