I would love to have this baby vaginally and with no medication. :( but sadly I have a repeat 3rd c section

@beaniebaby810, does a c-section hurt?

my first one did. it was an emergency and I had an epidural instead of spinal. with an epidural they are supposed to turn you on your side then 30 min turn you on your other side and so on so it the medicine is distributed evenly. Sadly I was having so many issues and the baby kept getting stuck in was on one side most of the time. one side I was completely numb and the other side wasn't and I layed there and screamed when they pulled him out. but my 2nd was so much better it was planned and I had the spinal, I didn't know they even started. post op is a bit different depending on if they use glue, staples, or stitches. I've had glue and I've had staples. I have to say I like the staples better. because the doctor takes them out and the glue stays on for a long time you just really have to pick at it or wait for it to come off, it's a pain. the recovering from my first went a lot better than the 2nd but with the first they had me on tons of pain meds but with the 2nd I had an adhesion from my first csection and the doctor removed and burn it so it wouldn't happen again so I think that added to the pain. he gave me the option for a vba2c but I'm afraid to because I'd probably end up with another emergency csection

I've heard that your not supposed to labor while on your back because its harder for the baby to come out, but I've had all mines while on my back and the first time it was hard, 45m of pushing. I just don't understand why most doctors start you off in this position while in labor?

@kotora, a bit but definitely better than losing your baby or your own life
