Did any of you fail the glucose test from your doctor the first time? If so, did you go back for the retesting and end up fine? I failed mine yesterday and am all paranoid. I had apple juice all morning, and keep wondering if that had a huge impact on my results.

Your supposed to fast when you take your glucose test and if you fast with the 3 hr you should be fine

You only fast for the 3 hour test! You drinking apple juice is not a problem. I drank pepsi the whole hour before I drank the stuff for the test and came out fine.

@bsb0093, the one hour one they only ask you not to eat two hours prior to testing. The three hour one is where they have you fast the 12 hours prior.

@jeanie, I may have snuck in a starburst without even thinking! I've been told others have failed it too and passed the three hour one with flying colors. So I don't know what to think. I'm so nervous!

@macruz, makes me feel better to know I'm not the only one! It's nerve wrecking though! They're all calm about it and I was like "uhmmmmmm!" Lol. Now I just keep thinking about it.

i took it the first time and failed but went back the second time and fasted till midnight and then went in the morning and took the 3 hour test which sucked horribly but i passed it

@simplyairbear, yeah it is, i brought my phone and headphones and watched a movie lol. having tobfast was the hardest part because the drink on an empty stomach made me want to throw up. try not to throw up because if you do you have to redo it again. lol but goodluck!!! im sure you will be fine!! :)

@astims23, ugh, I didn't even think of that! All I ever wanna do is eat, so my stomach is gonna be so mad! Thank you! Makes me feel MUCH better knowing yours went fine after failing like me! I've been so worried lol

yeah i was really worried but it turned out fine! goodluck and yeah i wanna eat all the time, sometimes at night ill eat like a few crackers but having to fast sucked! i definately ate right after the test lol! @simplyairbear
