Would you take Diflucan for a yeast infection or try Monistat first?

@babylove11416, I had a yeast infection several weeks ago and had the same problem. I mean I was on fire. The OB ended up giving me a different yeast cream that was fine.

I haven't needed to use it, but I am on a high dose of antibiotics

@nmb1010, mine gave both as well. But the Diflucan pamplet states it can harm the baby. And the pharmacy told me the same. When I researched Diflucan it says it is a class c drug.

here's a short funny story for you. my vagina itched so bad once (before I was prego) and I decided to Google my symptoms. so I decided to get Monistat and once I put it on, I shit you not , I itched soo much more and so deep. I said wtf!!! it was so bad and I said I gotta deal with it. oh man that shit went away after a few days and that's when I learned I will never use that shit again. 😂😂😂

@kaydensmommy5, my doc gave me diflucan on Monday and said its perfectly fine to take. But I have both
