Contractions 3-5 minutes apart, but because I'm not in extreme pain the hospital writes it off like it doesn't exist.. That's awesome.
induction might suck because it starts labor faster and stronger but it's not a C section. also there is a pill they can put near your cervix to make you dilate. tons of options to try.
Sweeping membranes doesn't always work when you're not dilated. My mother didn't dilate at all. So who knows. We are going to look into induction. I can't take it anymore. I want to do something before I end up with a c section.
when you see your ob tomorrow ask if she will sweep your membranes. I didn't dilate until I was in active labor.
I'm hoping for you! I could only imagine. I would get so anxious as soon as all that starts happening!
Yeah maybe you just need a little more time and something will happen! Or they will get stronger and closer and it'll be go time! Can't be too far away!
I am. I decided to just go lay in bed. My contractions are still pretty frequent. Maybe my water will break or something. But I really would rather just get induced and deal with my OB. @shananaginsx
Oh but that's there job! They are getting paid to deal with all that! Yeah I'm sure that'll be easier for you! But just try and relax :)
Oh but I'm sure I'm bothering them. That's how I felt last time too. They made me feel like shit/ I'm done dealing with them. I just want to deal with my OB. @shananaginsx
I see, yeah I would Deff go through my ob. I'm surprised the hospital is treating you like that! They should know better. They should atleast check... It's not like you wanna bother them for fun!
They stayed that way for awhile. But I have an appointment tomorrow so I'm just going to wait. I'd rather deal with my real OB. @tiffrae
I like my OB and she should be doing my delivery. I'm just getting sick of the on call doctors and the nurses there. I'm just gonna relax tonight and hope things go smoothly. I did a lot to get them started. My issue is I wasn't dilated on Tuesday. My mom had the issue of never dilating even when she was having contractions and in labor so I have a feeling I'll end up induced. But not by them, I'll talk to my OB. @shananaginsx @tiffrae
I had the option to go to that hospital, elsworth, or Belfast due to where I live. I choose Belfast again for this pregnancy because I have only heard bad things about emmc. With my first I had a nurse tell me I could be having contractions for up to two weeks (i was already 5 days past my due date) I came back in later that night at 7 cm. If your contractions stay 3-5 min part for over an hour go in. Until then walk and stay hydrated also good luck.
Yeah hopefully! Wow that sounds terrible I'm sorry. Hopefully you are atleast close to the hospital!
No. I was there this week and I was having them 10 minutes apart and the nurse said they are just fake contractions. She was a huge bitch. And the doctor made me feel like shit tonight. @tiffrae
Wth. I'm glad I choose not to go to that hospital. They didn't want you to come to get checked at all either?
Hopefully my water breaks or something.. I hate that hospital @shananaginsx
My goodness.. So what are you supposed to wait for then??
What! With being as far as you are... They should atleast check you! Wtf.
My mom didn't and I told the doctor that and he said because I'm not in pain to not worry about it.
That's not right! I've heard many women don't have painful contractions when in labor
I'm going to ask some questions and figure out what's best for my son and I. My mom had a little bit of pitocin and her labor kicked into gear. She said it wasn't more painful like most women say. @tiffrae
