I went to apply for WIC and the woman told me I'm underweight for 26 weeks, but my doctor said I'm okay and everyone's different in their pregnancy. My family is hassling me to gain weight now saying I should believe that woman over my doctor because she's a nutritionist but I feel like my doctor would tell me if there was a problem. Plus, I haven't had my stomach measured once yet.

wic told me the same I have lost 30 lbs so far im 36 weeks and I told wic my dr is fine with it and my ob has never measured my belly either but I have a ultrasound the 22 nd to measure my son.

no! wic has different standards they will tell u something completely different from your doctor! believe your doctor!

The nutritionists at WIC always talk shit. They always said me and my sisters were too skinny, when really we're just built talk and slim. We can't help our weight. And when I applied she tried to tell me I wasn't eating right and putting my babies at risk. I just kept thinking sorry but I'm housing two lives right now I'm not gonna starve myself. If my stomach feels like a black hole I'm gonna fill it up. 🙄🙄

I lost 12lbs from morning sickness for 3 months. I'm 31+4 days and am still not back to my pre pregnancy weight. Although I was considered overweight before I got pregnant my dr was initially worried about me not gaining in the beginning but now she says I'm fine. I'd just listen to the dr.

omg dont listen to those stupid ass nutritionist ! they go by what the computer tells them they dont know anything . begining they told me im gaining to much weight and i need to slow down ! my doctor was like your so tiny and your perfect weight !!! your very healthy and then i went last week and this women tried telling me how im going to take care of my child and what i should do .like no ! stop telling me how im going to raise my child lol . i hate thatplace so much . so happy someones having the same issue .

Glad it's not just me! She showed me some chart on a computer where my weight was way below and I was like well my doctor said I'm fine so I'm okay. @ciarahaleyyyy

Yea WIC has way different standards because my doctor told me I was at a good weight before I got pregnant and they said that I'm gaining at a good pace but WIC told me I was overweight before my pregnancy and I was a little above average on my weight gain. I really wanted to punch the lady for basically calling me fat lol
