Okay so since we aren't allowed to take any sleep aids, has anyone found a tried and true way of falling asleep at all? I've been battling insomnia for the past 4 days and have only gotten a few hours of sleep each morning. Idk what else to do. It's making me feel absolutely awful. :(
I'd ask your dr about it. I just stopped taking it bc I was still so tired.. but I don't think I was getting enough sleep since I worm til 11 then by the time I was ready for bed it was 1:30-2 then got up with my kids...
@hayleynsmith3, never heard of that. I was put on generic reglan for the extreme nausea I had and the migraines I've been having. It doesn't help much though. But it does put me to sleep sometimes when I do take it.
I thought it was weird that my Dr prescribed me unisom for nausea and insomnia.
Oh wow! Okay! Thank you @marinesrodeo9394! That does look pretty comfy! I gotta look into that! And @hayleynsmith3 I'll definitely look into that too. I'm desperate and now have a serious migraine thanks to the lack of sleep. (And it's not like the baby is moving and keeping me up either. Totally weird!) Thanks ladies! I really appreciate the help! I don't have any pregnant friends so this is the closest thing and I appreciate all of you! ❤️
you can totally take unisom 25mg...I was taking it for my nausea! it helped me so much with sleep too
It's a pregnancy pillow!! I sleep so good with mine. It helps me keep my hips in line so they don't hurt as bad and you can lay with it however you feel works the best.
Awesome! Thank you. I'll call her now and ask and then hopefully it'll work for me tonight!
Benadryl helps me sometimes but, I got a cheap heating pad and keep it on low and lay on it at night because my hips and back hurt so bad. It tends to help me relax so I can fall asleep. Just don't put it on high.
@diane.ladd, definitely ask doc to be sure because we don't know your pregnancy. My doc made it very clear to me that Benedryl and Tylenol were safe choices. I still used as sparingly as possible!
Thank you @emeliaday and @mamitobe607! I'll definitely check with my doctor. I really appreciate it!!
benedyrl is ok to take but always talk to your doctor first. every one is different
Oh yeah good point @hayleynsmith3. I'll definitely ask her about it.
