Hi girls can I get some help! I keep waking up on asleep on my back. Obviously I know that it stops the blood flow to the placenta so It's the last thing I want to do! I just don't know how I'm meant to stop my self lying on my back when I'm asleep? Any ideas ?
Sometimes I slept half on my back to take the weight off my hips...I wasn't fully on my back xD It helped having a wall behind me as I couldn't move fully onto my back :) but in order to turn etc...I had to wake up :) I slept on my stomach until 17 weeks xxx
Hahah aww bless him! Well these two kick every time I wake up so I am kept awake till they settle so by morning I am exhausted 😂 @cheryltomkinson1985 xxx
I think he must be lying on a nerve most nights... because most of the time I sleep on my right side as the left is too painful xx but sometime the right is as well xx plus he so active and I am sure he tries escape through my belly button xx
Same! Being sick all the night aswell! Haha @stacey804 and Well I do wake up a lot and change on to my side but I still need to find a way to stop my self 😂 @cheryltomkinson1985 xxx
same here xx I did read that when it becomes dangerous or whatever then your body wakes you up...so I am relying on that thought lol @hollymariedevoy
Yeah my oh probably feels the same about me. I'm up and down all night 😂 xx
I have a v shaped pillow that's what I use but I'm still waking up on my back! @cheryltomkinson1985 and I think he'd rather kick me out haha! @at acey804 xxx
i used to have a v shaped pillow between my legs so it goes infront and behind. worked wonders xx
See we don't have a big enough bed to have pillows either side😕 so am screwed! @stacey804 xx
I am the same xx terrified that I doing long term damage but not completely flat as I have head propped up but it still worries me xx
@hollymariedevoy, well I would say one side, as you'll be less likely to be comfortable on your back if you've got pillows under one side, if they move you could put them under the bedsheet
I do that aswel. I use pillows at either side. I toss and turn all night regardless though. It's a nightmare xx
I sleep with a pregnancy pillow between my legs and then a wedge pillow just underneath my back so if I do roll I'm not completely flat! Finding it so hard to sleep because I just worry and sleeping on my back or tummy was my favourite😩 xxx
