no. they'll learn when they're ready.

Both my older kids learned when they were 4 they were both very stubborn

@gypsy.soul2, someone understands!! He wont when he is playing so i tell him. i feel.he is getting there and should not be rushed.

my is 3 will b 4 in July & we r in this boat together it's all up 2 ur kid really when they want 2 go potty

@reaganmommy2015, lol he knows he just get preoccupied that it doesnt cross his mind with a pull up on. but when he has on underwear he is going and have accidents here and there.

do like I do would they like 2 try to take them 4 a weekend & try picking them up caring them to the potty at night lol they shut up really quick like

sometimes their parts aren't completely grown to signal to them when it's time to go. my daughter is 2.5 and today just started sitting on her potty when I go potty. people just don't get it sometimes... that's not your problem

im on the same boat, i fee like society pushes us to do things to fast when actually is up to oyr kids.... i tried when my daughter was 1 yr failed. Tried again at 2 yrs failed tried again at 2 1/2 failed so I hope she will let me know...Good luck

They probably don't mean any harm. They probably a little concerned cause when he starts pre-k he have to be fully potty trained

@eve42013, its on their time. he is getting better but has moments where he doesnt but something is better than nothing.

@msprettyinpink, his birthday late so its gonna be awhile. yeah thats true and i understand that but he almost there and got a long way to go before school comes in to play

Oh ok. And it's hard when everyone isn't on the same page with helping as well. To make sure he using potty at all. Like when he stay with family N all.

Boys tend to take longer also. Plus I done my daughter the same way even though she was fully trained by the age of 3. You never know.

Three year olds can do a lot! He should at least be day trained. I'm a teacher and having taught 3's it was annoying that some parents would send them to school in pull ups. 😕 At night the pull ups at that age are ok cause they are accident prone.

@3.26.16, the only thing we dont have down is getting up at night and going when we are out in public on his own. we have our good weeks and then its bad weeks too.

@missdee, wow!! i would never do that! i understand how that would be annoying. im going to school for early childhood development to work in daycares...as a start. he has a late birthday so its gonna be awhile before school happens because of maryland and their laws
