honestly I haven't used it but I have heard bad things about castor oil I know you might be very desesperate believe I feel like I'm gonna die everyday between the extra weight my low self esteem, the pain and my anxiety to have her with me but I wouldnt risk it by taking castor oil I'll just give her time. it's my opinion I'm not judging

I did it with my last baby, 12 days before my due date. I took it at about 1 in the afternoon, and had him at 2:30 the next morning. Let me tell you, it was the hardest labor I have had and I delivered my first 2 natural with no drugs. My labor was hard and fast! Contractions were extreme and on top of each other. I will say it only works if your body is ready, as I tried it with my first and it didn't work :( @tattoomom3

@gvaldez21, what kinda bad things? @mamabee ya I heard about the diarrhea but I was planning to take it in the parking lot at the hospital just in case@mizhollyrock well I'm having mild contractions and been open 3cm since 36 weeks I think i opened more but i haven't went to doc to get checked yet

It's not worth losing your baby over so many people have lost their babies or their babies end up in the NICU because of it

@tattoomom3, that it can cause the baby to have his first bowel movement in the womb and the baby might ingest it

@tattoomom3, I guess it's better safe than sorry. believe there's nothing I want more than to have my baby with me and I still have 2 weeks more to go.

castor oil yuk I bout died trying to drink it with my daughter good luck did you try red wine it helps induce labor too

@gvaldez21, ya girl i just hate the fact that I did walking a whole lot and going up n down my stairs no sex cuz i don't have my hubby here for all that...and yes I'm dieing to have my lil. one in my arms already he took all my energy I'm tired n pain I just want him out

I bet you end up going into labor on your own! If not make sure you don't take to much. I did two table spoons and mixed it in with scrambled eggs (don't drink it straight it's disgusting!!!) I took a nap for few hours...woke up about 3:30 and was sad thinking it didn't work. Then started getting stomach cramps, pooed a few times and contractions started. @tattoomom3

I don't think i need to be drinking that stuff i feel like ya u might go in labor soon on my own I really hope so
