Went to the hospital early this morning due to horrible contractions less then 5min apart the checked my cervix and im 2cm and 50% effaced which is great progress i believe ive been doing 2000mg of evening prim rose daily so im so hoping its going to happen soon im 38 weeks today and i just want him out but my contractions stopped. I think i was just overly exhausted it happened with my second too. I need more things to try i think ive literally tried everything.

yes it is preterm labor. anything before 40 weeks is preterm due to the fact that 40 weeks is considered term. meaning since 38 weeks is prior to 40 it is preterm. my toddler was born at 36 weeks. a month preterm. my husband was born at 39 weeks. a week preterm. I was born at 36 weeks as well.
If he would have come it wouldn't be preterm labor hes perfectly fine to come @lakilucid
then why are you trying to induce preterm labor?
I know when full term is i have other kids thank though @lakilucid
38 weeks isnt full term. best to wait until at least 40.
Last night after my shower i laid down and they picked up really bad so I'm hoping that happens again @aj33
you could try relaxing. it helps. he or she will come when their ready.
And hes prefectly fine to come and if the process is starting why not if you have a huge problem with what i do with my body and my kids please dont let it be known because i really dont care @lakilucid have a nice day
