At what point can I stop waking my baby up every 3 hours to feed and just let her wake on her own timeframe? I meant to ask the doctor today and forgot? What did your doctors say?
With my boys I nursed exclusively and I never woke them up to eat. Their Dr never told me to wake them up every few hours for them to eat and said that they know when they are hungry and will wake up on their own and if they go past 6 hours of sleep that's when you wake them up. But I personally wouldn't wake up your baby to feed unless your baby is having issues. Good luck
What will my doctor do if I tell her I’m depressed and I can’t handle the pain anymore because I’m very uncomfortable at this point and I don’t know how much longer I can be like this.
So my baby is 8 weeks old and is thriving with weight gain each doctors visit. So here is my question: around 4-5 hours at night for sleep she wakes up every night and sucks on her thumb. (She finally this week likes it to soothe her during nap times) her eyes are still closed and she moves around and sucks it. I wake her to feed her. My question is should I just let it go? And see if she is just soothing herself to sleep? I don't want her to stave by morning if she sleep a couple of more hours...
Should I wake my baby to feed her? Does anyone have a feeding schedule and what is it like?
Any mommas on here Nurses ??
I have a question
I had a doctor appointment today and I’m a bit confused with what my doctor told me and what the papers say
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
My daughter had to be woken up, but now she doesnt go so long and unless she passes 5 or 6hr from last feed, I will let her wake up herself.
