I'm so over the moon about finding this out. I'm almost relieved. her behavior and aggression has been extremely stressful lately and my depression due to not knowing what to do has been out of control. my husband has been in complete denial of her diagnosis and I'm hoping that this will help him to understand a little better as well. omg, I feel ridiculous saying I'm excited, but this could change everything

@bugmama, I've been battling with her pediatrician for a formal autism diagnosis....but today she was mimicking Frozen, yet she can't ask for a cup. she's been picking up strange words and sentences and mimicking songs. so I googled it and found echolalia, which I strongly believe she has now. it makes so much sense. I'm super excited to tell her other doctor about what I saw because it validates what her pediatrician has been denying.
