I'm thinking of buying a bottle warmer .. Any recommendation?

Look into the dr. Brown bottle warmer. I got it and I've liked it so far. :)

to me it's a waste of money. you can throw the milk on the stove on high heat and it heats up pretty quickly

No recommendation, but I honestly say don't go for the Tommee Tippee one.
