To add to your photo, this Alabama state law up to boosters! That way they have how long to stay in a booster, and when they can go in a booster. I know some people ain't happy! However my husband has panic attacks, because him and others "tried" to revive a 10 year old who got thrown out the window. This was due to the dads letting his kids be "comfortable" and not buckling up! My husband and the others revived this boy long enough for his mom to say goodbye, it's not a pretty picture. I don't want that to be others kids! Thanks for this btw!
@gypsy.soul2, I don't understand why people would be pissed off about it being a law to keep your kids she. that just blows my mind. you should be required to keep your kids safe, you should WANT to.
@melinda89, alabama really needs to get up to date on child safety laws. it gives me a complex seeing so many people put their babies lives in danger around me.
I remember being in one till I was 8... but I've seen kids younger than that not being in one which I don't think is safe at all. I've told my husband our kids will be in car seats till their old enough to not be in one, and won't sit in front till teenagers.
@gypsy.soul2, well the difference between a 5'1" adult, and 4'9" kid is your bones are much much stronger and able to withstand a crash where there's may snap on impact. that's why they changed the rf laws too. it's not about height and weight, it's age. a very big 1 year olds neck will still snap in a wreck because their vertebrae have not fused together to properly protect the babies spinal cord. in forward facing seats, during a wreck the head can fly forward 2 inches (or more of not properly buckled in) it one takes a quarter inch of movement to snap your spinal cord causing internal decapitation and certain death (only 1 child tad survived that, because he had an AMAZING surgeon and will be paralyzed forever)

@crunchymomma no idea. I think they think all 12yo are huge lol I'm only 5ft1 so I'd be graduating from a booster hahha
