if I were you,I would first got to a lactation specialist to make sure you are doing nothing wrong with your latch, then I would stock it out another week or two before introducing the bottle.

It's all up to you momma. Your baby your decision!! I think that as long as baby is getting nutrients and is healthy then whatever you're doing is fine.

She latches with a shield only

I pump!! It was too much of a hassle to breastfeed cuz my daughter will only nurse with a shield and she eats A LOT. But even just pumping hurts my nipples.

check the latch and your nipples will hurt until they're use to the nursing.

also make sure you're using the correct shield.
