After I was induced it took me about 6 hours until my babies were here!

@allistersmommy, oh my goodness! That's so nice though that you have your sister to talk to about it all! Im the oldest, and first of my sisters to have a baby. Don't worry! Those doctors are amazing! You'll do great!

@jennatess, my sister had 14 hours of labor too! she had pitocin and all. she wouldn't dilate past 6cm and her baby's heart rate started dropping everytime she had a contraction. Of course, all I care about is my baby boys safety! So, if I have to have a C section, then oh well. Also, both my mom and sister had very high blood pressure during pregnancy and mine has been pretty low, even now towards the end. Anyways thank you for the advice, I will be Def be packing a heating pad just in case! It wouldn't suprise me if mine ended up the same way.

@allistersmommy, I ended up with an emergency c-section after 14 hours or labor! Baby got stuck in my pelvis bone on the way out while pushing. (She was over 9 lbs, and i have a petite frame.). The recovery was brutal. I never want to do that again! Haha. -- My advice? Pack a heating pad, or put a heating pad in the car. The heat helps to release the MAJOR gas pains you have after the surgery. Pack one just in case. And if you have a natural delevery, then good! No worries...but at least you'll have it just in case. Plus, you can always use it again. It legitimately saved my life. I made my husband run out during the end of day two of recovery. I wish I would have had one from the start!

@jennatess, Ahhh!! that means an emergency C section! My sister had one too. After watching her go through labor and nothing go the way she had planned, I don't think I will be suprised by anything. But I really don't want a C section :(

Talk to your mama! Usually your labor tends to follow what your mothers was like. I heard that, and I pretty much had the exact labor as my mom did! Haha

Not all! I just had my daughter not quite 2 weeks ago. I was only in labor for about 5 hours! and I only pushed for about a half hour!
