Is it really that fucking selfish of me to ask my SO's family leaves at a certain time when visiting the hospital so my friends can come and not have 3-5 people in my room!? My SO is throwing a fit! Saying I'm selfish and his family will leave when they want to. I don't want them there all fucking day! I want my own time and some time for me and my friends is that really that wrong of me!? His mom and my mom don't get along so my mom will be leaving. I want a time also my mom can come back in my room without her being stressed! Am i really that wrong!?

Tell the nurses that once your friends arrive, have them tell your so's family to leave or wait outside for your friends to visit. The nurses will be your best friends! Ha don't tell your so

The nurses are there to take the blame for things. Talk to them in private about limiting visiting hours due to "hospital policy" or "bonding with parents time". They should be more than happy to help be the bad guys.

Thats a job for the nurses make them the bad guys, im the same way.. My mom and MIL do not get along... And my mom will always be respectable. But my MIL makes (comments) like under her breath and it pisses my mom off. I really dont want alot of people visiting in general at the hospital i want that more for me and my fiance. Yes the grandparents for a bit.. But everyone else can wait till we are home in my opinion..

@lildarebear, I'm 18 and want my mom there with me she's nice enough To most likely leave the room so no tension is there yet my so said "I can't tell them when to be there and when to leave this is my moms grandbaby so idk when she will want to leave" so I said apparently it's your moms baby and not mine. I want one friend so grandparents then one of my friends... So 3 people he wanted mom step dad sister his dad his grandma and aunt and like 3 friends I said no so I get a hissy fit like hmm don't like it don't come

it would be to overwhelming to have everyone in the room after baby is born i agree with u about having only fiance and me in the room and his mom and my mom. in the room but the others can wait till i get home to many ppl can get overwhelming and i can have an anxiety attack @lildarebear

just tell them to leave and have ur mom stay if ur babys dad cant understand where ur coming from than he can leave too intoldnmy fiance that its only me and him in the room if my mom and bestfriend dont come and after thr baby is bornni toldnhim only 2 at a time and i say when i dont want anyone else innthe room and they can wait till im home to see her @katearabella its about u and how u feel dont worry about hurtting anyones feelings u just had a baby who cares if ur moody and snap i so would
