Lately I've been thinking about my work life after I have my baby, I can't help but to think I don't wanna go back to my current job because the hours are super long and the shifts are always being changed last min ,

Idk if it's normal for me to feel nervous about being away from my child for 8-9 hours a day from sun up til sun down already when he's not even here yet but I just can't help but feel like that's too long for me to be away from him with him in someone else's care, like not everyone is gonna take care of your baby/child like you will.

Not to say any of his family members would purposely harm him tho....

Guess I'm just gonna have to keep reminding myself even though I make real good easy quick money now no amount of money is worth loosing out on time with your child or missing moments in your child's life....

Yeah I know to the best thing but I don't wanna think about myself , i want my child to know me and I don't wanna miss out on any moments or any first. It's gonna be hard to move on from my job but I think it's best if I do so I can be involved in my child's life while he's growing. Especially in that first month

I was the same way before I had my son. You have to do whats best for you. And when the opportunity for change comes go for it!

Will your Mom be in the delivery room?

Will your Mom be in the delivery room? My mom made it sound like she was gonna be in the delivery room when I give birth, and quite frankly, I would just like it to be me and my fiancé. It's our first, and I want to share that special moment with just him. I don't want to hurt her feelings, and I know this is something she would really like to be a part of. So I feel bad telling her no.

Here's her bio and general tips: Hello I am Ceiamaria I am a stay at home Mother to 4 children ages 12,8,7 and 11 months old. I am happily married for 12 years and we are still going strong. I am determined and driven for success FAILURE isn't an option for me. I potty trained my oldest at 9 months old. My 2 middle son's were more difficult they were between 18 months and 2 years old. My baby boy was showing interest in potty training, I decided to buy him a potty chair. Potty training tips 1.) Don't rush your child 2.)Don't yell at your child 3.) Don't punish your child for having accidents 4.) Don't give you child candy 5.) Don't compare other children to your child 6.) Do praise your child 7.) Clap your hands when your child goes to the potty. 8.)Take your child every 15-30 minutes to the potty 9.)Don't criticize your child 10.) I don't recommend pull ups but I don't bash mothers who decided to use them. 11.) Remember potty training is not taught in one day you have to be determined to potty train your child. @itsamemario, you deleted your post before I could hit send but this is my comment: I don’t know if this answers your question but this is my answer. My son is 7 and he knows race and color. Why? Because he himself comes from a family that is multi racial and because he has already experienced racism. I also believe as his mother it’s my job to teach him color and the cold hard truth about society. He knows what’s going on in this world. I’d be hurting him if I allowed him to blindly walk outside without this information. Children of color are being targeted and killed too. It’s not just adults. I let my son know we treat everyone equally and with respect. I let him know that we love everyone for their differences. In every aspect. Color, race, ethnicity, religion, sexual preference we love everyone.
