so my work only scheduled me one day this week and then scheduled me like this, when they know my due date is next Thursday ( top s is for Sunday bottom s is Sat)

NP. its not your fault. its the manager because she should have talked to you about turning in papers. I worked in retail(marshalls) while I was pregnant with my son and they tried to do that, and the some co workers told me to call H&R(headquarters of the company) and then my manager gave me the papers and I got 12 weeks off.
oh well I don't think that's how we do it at my work but thank u @kelseys
you have to get the papers from your manager to give to your OB and then it takes a few days-few weeks for the OB office to fill them out.

they will keep scheduling you until you turn in your maternity leave papers.

his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
So I scheduled my appointment for the Mirena IUD.. hopefully this works for me🤞🏽
My first doctors appointment is finally scheduled for May 10th , ill be 11 weeks . My damn mother in law is trying to argue with me that they WILL do a vaginal sonogram , not the jelly on my belly . What's gonna happen ladies ?
your manager still should've pulled you aside to inform you. they try to not tell you so that you think the only way is to quit. my manager was shocked that I asked for the papers after a co worker told me. I also didn't know that it could take up to a few weeks to fill out the paper work at the ob office, so when you take the papers there, explain what happened so they can try to hurry up, and if your not at work rite now, call the manager to get the maternity leave papers ready or the absence of leave papers.
