Has any mommies tied their tubes young and regretted it when they got older? Almost 22 and thinking…

I'm 21 and this is my 3rd I've thought about it. Just scared that in my 30s ill want another. I'm waiting till baby is born to see how I feel

yes I had mine tied at 23 and regretted it and ended up paying a lot of money to have them untied which fortunately did work bc I am now 23 weeks pregnant but it is definitely not a guarantee that it will work so if you are having any doubts I would suggest not doing it

Maybe consider doing something less permanent? There is a iud with no hormones made from copper that last for awhile. You never know where life will take you and if in the future you could want more kids being so young

I had the mirena iud after my first and had to have it emergency taken out my body was rejecting it and it had my uterus swollen

Im 19 and having my third at 20. I already told my SO that Im getting on birth control because of how I have reacted and I was thinking about my tubes but my mom had hers burnt and she wants another baby but cant so Im not just in case I want one more! I told my SO he can just wrap it up lol

@cheydollison13, I completely understand where you're coming from. I had to get my Mirena removed bc it moved out of place. I'm currently pregnant with my 2ND daughter & I've already signed the paper work to get my tubes tied after I deliver this baby. Sometimes I question my decision but at the same time I feel like I'm done... idk. it's a tough decision.

@cheydollison13, it's not the mirena I had that one too and I hated it I have maybe found 1 person that it did not bother this one I have a handful of friends that swear by it I can't remember what it's called I will never use hormonal birth control because of all the things it does or can do but this copper one I would think is worth looking into

I was completely set on getting them tied until I found out I'm having another boy 😂 now I'm like maybe just one more time!? But then I can't see myself with two kids
